Behaviour Consultant & Intervention Mentor

Hello, my name is Sharon Savoie (She/Her/Hers)!

I am a seasoned Behavior Consultant and Intervention Mentor with over 15 years of experience working with at-risk youth, families, and individuals experiencing complex behavioral and mental health challenges. As co-founder of BEST 4 Parents Interventions and Clinical Services, I bring a deeply relational, strength-based approach to every family I work with—building trust, resilience, and capacity in both caregivers, community, and school teams.

Over the course of my career, I have worked across a variety of settings, including inpatient youth treatment, substance-use programs, crisis response, and community mental health. I have supported school-aged children and their families by bridging education and health systems. My professional training includes Cognitive Behavioral Skills, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). I am widely known for my collaborative and compassionate approach, with a strong focus on multidisciplinary teamwork.

As a Behavior Intervention Consultant, I am committed to empowering individuals, families, and supporting teams with proactive, strength-based strategies to navigate complex behavioral challenges. My approach focuses on building emotional regulation, positive communication, and long-term resilience—helping those impacted by ASD, FASD, anger, and conflict. Centered on early, intentional intervention, my work aims to build capacity before crisis and foster lasting, meaningful change.

I co-founded BEST 4 Parents alongside my colleague Mary Mackinnon, driven by a shared belief that all families deserve access to timely, practical, and trauma-informed care. Our work is grounded in the belief that with the proper support, families can overcome even the most complex challenges—and thrive.
